Matt's motivation for the trip is to show people, particularly those with disabilities, that there are no limits to what can be accomplished in life; and to raise money for Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB), a nonprofit sailing program for people with disabilities, based in Annapolis, Md. Question: How did you navigate the Northwest Passage with a Garmin chartplotter?? I checked the Garmin site and could find no charts available for that area.
We appreciate what you are doing and are rooting for you!!
Best wishes, P&S
Hey Matt,
We’ve never meet before, but I have heard many stories about you from Mr. Robert Burkhardt. You came before me at the Rock; I graduated in ’06. What you are doing/have done is inspiring on so many levels. Thank you for your passion and fortitude.
P.S. I wasn’t going to comment until I saw the photo of you in your ER hoodie. Way to rep. on the global scale.
